Jetty Research and ETC (Enterprise & Training Company) are delighted to announce the formation of a new telephone call centre, designed to consolidate the Coffs Coast's position as a major regional research hub.
The arrangement will see Jetty Research expand its existing 6-seat research call centre located at CHEC with a further 10 seats at ETC's Coffs Harbour head office. The expanded 16-seat call centre will allow Jetty Research to handle larger and multiple CATI (computer-aided telephone interviewing) projects, and make its call centre one of Australia's largest non-metropolitan telephone research facilities.
"This is great news for Jetty Research, ETC, and Coffs Harbour", says Jetty Research managing director James Parker. "We're already conducting phone research for a wide variety of commercial, government and academic customers across the country. This new partnership will allow us to build on these relationships, taking on larger and more complex projects. It will also provide capacity for new customers".
Mr Parker says clients appreciate the fact that high quality research can be generated from somewhere like Coffs Harbour.
"Regional customers love using suppliers from other regional areas, while our metro-based partners see the cost benefits in using a researcher located outside the major capital cities. And so far, CATI research has proven one service that can't be outsourced overseas."
ETC General Manager Michael Close is pleased to support the growth of a local business.

Importantly, ETC and Jetty Research will generate more employment opportunities in the local community, Mr Close added.
"The Coffs Coast is an ideal place to base a business like this", says Mr Parker. "We have a reliable IT infrastructure plus a skilled and eager pool of potential candidates. Since our launch in 2006 we've already provided jobs and training to over 50 locals. This new chapter will hopefully allow us to employ plenty more."
