ETC is pleased to announce the successful recipients of the ETC Community Support Fund.
A new Youth Hub for Casino Neighbourhood Centre, a mobile office for Hastings Early Intervention Program and a wheelchair access van for Liberty Community Connect are among some of the successful projects that are to be funded. Other successful recipients include:
Boomerang Bags, Lions Club of Carrara Inc, Liberty Community Connect, Nerang Country Paradise Association Inc, The Migrant Centre Organisation Inc., Story Dogs Inc, Byron Bay Community Association, Unit Committee TS Lismore Naval Reserve Cadets Inc., Lismore Pre School Inc, Interrelate, Camp Quality, Kinchela Reserve Landcare Group, Bellingen Mentor Group, Nambucca Mens Shed Inc, Nambucca Valley Phoenix Ltd, Kempsey Macleay Men’s Shed Inc, Port Macquarie Neighbourhood Centre Inc, Reap Port Macquarie Hastings Inc, Old Bar Community Pre School Inc, Police Citizens Youth Club Wollongong (PCYC).
ETC CEO Jenny Barnett said the successful projects supported the Community Support Fund vision to reduce disadvantage, generate opportunity, increase support services and/or build capacity in the communities in which ETC operates.
“We are so pleased with the diversity of the recipient organisations that enrich the lives of local people”, Ms Barnett said.
According to Ms Barnett the ETC Community Support Fund had provided nearly half a million dollars to worthwhile projects since commencing in 2012.
“We have supported young people and children, people living with disability or mental health concerns, carers, families at risk, retirees and the aged, migrants and refugees, sufferers of cancer and chronic illness, and the broader community,” Ms Barnett said.

Ms Barnett said this was a good time for local organisations and community groups to showcase and promote the great things they have achieved together as part of Community and Philanthropy Partnerships Week which runs 7 to 13 December.
