ETC is proud to release the company’s annual 2018/19 statistics for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander outcomes in time for NAIDOC Week.

ETC CEO Jenny Barnett said ETC had a strong reputation of investing in programs which had seen positive training and employment outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians.

“As a leading provider of employment, training and business services, ETC has many existing and sustainable relationships with peak Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander service providers like Local Aboriginal Land Councils, Local Aboriginal Interagency Groups and Aboriginal Medical Services,” Mrs Barnett said.

Below are some highlighted outcomes over the past 12 months:

  • 18 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff employed at ETC
  • 40 Aboriginal owned or operated businesses supported
  • 918 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander job seekers placed into work
  • 431 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander job seekers commencing in ETC training courses (40% increase)
