We are proud to release ETC’s annual 2022/2023 statistics for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander outcomes!
During the 2022-2023 financial year, ETC saw some strong Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander outcomes.
We are proud to share these statistics, and to promote our commitment to reconciliation throughout our services and the ways we engage with the community.
ETC has a strong reputation of investing in programs which have seen positive training and employment outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders.
This investment not only has a positive impact on our customers, but it’s also a way we can support our local communities.
As a leading provider of employment, training and business services, ETC has many existing and sustainable relationships with peak Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander service providers like Local Aboriginal Land Councils, Local Aboriginal Interagency Groups and Aboriginal Medical Services.
Through our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), we wish to contribute to creating a fairer and more equitable society in our regions of operation and support the resolution of Reconciliation Australia and the Australian Government to contribute to “Closing the Gap” – particularly in our core business areas of employment, training, and business growth.
Below are some highlighted outcomes over the past 12 months:
- 946 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander job seekers placed into work
- 1,062 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander job seekers commencing into ETC training courses
