ETC’s DEI Strategy is based on two pillars:
ETC is committed to enhancing our employee and customer experience by promoting diversity, equity and inclusion in our workforce and through service delivery to customers.
We believe that a diverse workforce not only reflects the communities we serve, but also leads to better outcomes for our employees, customers and stakeholders.
At ETC, our corporate values of Respect, Integrity, Success and Empowerment are critical elements and guiding principles of our DEI Strategy. We believe that when we honour the unique perspectives and experiences of all employees and customers; act with integrity and authenticity; measure and celebrate our success and empower our employees and customers to reach their full potential, we can create an organisation where everyone thrives.
As part of our reporting requirements to the Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA), ETC provides the following statement to give context to our 2023 Gender Pay Gap Report. View the statement >
It’s important to note that ETC does not pay people differently based on age, ethnicity or gender. Rather our salaries are determined based on pre-set bandwidths for roles that consider capability and experience that are also commensurate with industry pay rates. Furthermore, ETC’s workforce, including Executive and Senior Management teams are comprised predominantly of women.
