Many successful business people have had mentors – people who have helped, coached and advised them in their careers.
They can offer fresh, experienced insight and have no emotional attachment to your business. They will provide you with a step-by-step guide to move your business to the next level.
Local business woman Ashleigh Taylor found herself a business mentor after relocating her business from Moree. Ms Taylor’s hair studio “Adorabella” opened its doors in the Coffs Harbour CBD just a month ago thanks to the support received from ETC’s Small Biz Connect Consultant Fiona Barden.
“Fiona was fantastic,” Ms Taylor said.
“She was only a phone call away to help me with anything I needed. I had a thousand things running through my mind and she helped to keep me on track.”
Ms Taylor recommends that others who are starting their own business should seek the help available in the local area.
“Mentoring helps with everything. I couldn’t have become as successful as I am without the support from Fiona.”
