QEII Jubilee Hospital is recruiting for the following roles – Porterage, Food Services and Environmental Services. Customers who successfully complete this 3-week training program will be prioritized for available roles. There are 20 training positions on offer. Participants must be under the age of 30, with First Nations and Multicultural participants highly regarded.

The program encompasses one week of classroom-based training, followed by 2 weeks of unpaid pre-vocational buddy shift training to provide on-the-job catch-up and theory support. Customers who complete the training will receive a Statement of Attainment in CHC33021, with competencies in the following units:

• SIRXCOM002 (Work effectively in a team)
• CHCCOM005 (Communicate and Work in Health or Community Services).
