Hospitality Work Skills – Intro to Cookery

Intro2Cookery (Statement of Attainment in SIT20416 – Certificate II in Kitchen Operations)

Discovery Day: Learn more about this course by attending our discovery session, June 16th at 10am.

ETC’s Intro to Cookery course will provide you with basic cookery skills such as food safety, safe work practices, kitchen and equipment cleaning and how to prepare and present simple dishes.

Duration: 2 days per week for 4 weeks

Delivery method: Face to Face with hands-on practical

Cost: This course may be Fee Free* for eligible participants under the NSW Government JobTrainer Initiative. Enquire Now to see if you are eligible.

Units covered: 

  • SITXWHS001 Participate in safe work practices
  • SITXFSA001 Use hygienic practices for food safety
  • SITHKOP001 Clean kitchen premises and equipment
  • SITHCCC002 Prepare and present simple dishes (including Knife skills- non-accredited)
