ETC Announces Network Video as Employer of the Month

Network Video has been announced as the Enterprise & Training Company Limited (ETC) Employer of the Month.

The ‘Movie People’ are Australian owned and operated, employing 8 staff in Casino.

Store Manager Cathy Turner said her team was ecstatic to win the award.

“We have a great team here. My staff all have bubbly attitudes and they’re always happy to have a chat to the elderly and people who are just lonely. They’re a good lot that go the extra mile and have a good work ethic,” Ms Turner said.

“It was great to receive the recognition because it shows that we do employ the local people.”

Ms Turner said that when employing staff she looked for people who are friendly.

“We need staff that are ‘people persons’ and who actually want to be here,” Ms Turner said.

“We work with a whole range of people here from kids to the elderly.”

According to Ms Turner, the store provides more than just videos to the public.

“We’re a mixed business that also provides items such as branded promotional items, phones etc,” Ms Turner said.

Network Video has used local jobactive provider ETC to assist with their employment needs.
