Enterprise and Training Company (ETC), a leading provider of employment, training, and business services, is pleased to announce the appointment of their new CEO.
ETC’s former Chief Operations Officer Damon Munt has replaced retiring CEO Jenny Barnett.
“I’m really excited to be stepping into the role of CEO and leading the team that takes ETC into the future,” Mr Munt said.
“I would also like to take this opportunity to acknowledge and thank Jenny Barnett for her outstanding contribution to ETC over the past 20 years.”
“Under Jenny’s leadership, ETC has grown from a small organisation delivering employment and training services from 8 offices on the Mid North Coast to a large and mature enterprise servicing customers from 44 offices throughout both NSW and QLD.”
Damon Munt has been ETC’s Chief Operations Officer for the past 8 years and celebrates his 25th anniversary in the employment services industry this year.
The not-for-profit company has helped over 95,000 job seekers into employment, 46,000 students into training, and 40,000 small businesses.
Mr Munt said ETC remains committed to helping local unemployed people find meaningful and sustainable employment, along with developing the vocational skills of students and helping aspiring new business reach their goals.
“I am proud of ETC’s achievements over the past 34 years, and I look forward to continuing to focus on the needs of our customers and supporting the company’s continued success,” said Mr Munt.
ETC currently operates along the East Coast of Australia from the NSW Hunter region all the way up to Bundaberg Queensland, as well as inland New South Wales around the New England North West region.
ETC has consistently reinvested its profits back into local communities and in the last 2 years alone has given back $1M to a range of deserving organisations as part of the ETC Community Support Fund.
“As a registered charity, ETC is proud to continue helping organisations reduce disadvantage, generate opportunity, increase support services and/or build capacity in the communities in which we operate through local community grants,” Mr Munt said
With a company vision of making a positive impact on peoples’ life, and a mission to strengthen the community through engagement and support, ETC is thrilled to continue making a difference across their footprint.
