Media Release: ETC named a finalist in the NSW Training Awards

Training provider Enterprise and Training Company (ETC) has been named as a finalist for the 2023 NSW Large Training Provider of the Year.

Operating for over 30 years, the not-for-profit, community-oriented company is a leading provider of employment, training, and business services, across NSW and Qld.

Catherine Hull, ETC’s General Manager – Training said that ETC was thrilled to be named a finalist.

“This nomination highlights ETC’s passion and dedication to create an outstanding student experience, while meeting employers current and emerging training needs,” Ms Hull said.

“We take great pride in the quality of our training programs and strive to be a leader in the VET sector by providing creative and innovative training solutions, developed around local skills shortages and high employing industries.”

ETC offers a range of flexible training programs, including work preparation courses and nationally recognised qualifications through their Registered Training Organisation (RTO 6998).

They also offer Workforce Australia programs – Career Transition Assistance and Self-Employment Assistance.

“At ETC, our vision is to make a positive impact on peoples’ lives and our mission is to strengthen our community through engagement and support – and we do this through our training services.”

“We help people in many different situations to overcome their personal challenges and develop the skills they need to find sustainable employment,” Ms Hull said.

The NSW Training Awards are conducted annually by Training Services NSW to recognise outstanding achievement in the vocational education and training sector.

This is the first time that ETC have been nominated as the NSW Large Training Provider of the Year.

However, ETC has a proud history as a Training organisation and have previously won the Small Training Provider category in 2005, 2013 and 2016, and were named a finalist in 2019.

The 2023 NSW Large Training Provider of the Year winner will be announced at the NSW Training Awards presentation event, on 15 September in Sydney.

The winner will progress to shortlisting for the Australian Training Awards, and if successful, will represent NSW at the Australian Training Awards event presentation, which will be held in Tasmania in November.
