As part of ETC’s Disability Employment Services (DES) Program, Recruitment Advisor Crystal works with many employers across the North Coast.
One employer who stood out to her for their excellence in recruitment practices was SUPA VALUE IGA in Ballina.
So, she nominated them for ETC’s North Coast Employer of the year – which they won!
Crystal said she was thrilled that IGA won as their values align with ETC’s.

The local ETC team in Ballina have been working closely with IGA for some time. Training Manager Lisa said she was proud to work with a company that prioritises inclusivity.
“The management team at IGA are some of the most understanding, inclusive and respectful employers I have had the pleasure of working with,” said Lisa.
“Through our relationship, we’ve secured rewarding roles for some of our long-term unemployed customers at their Ballina store.”

This helps participants feel safe and supported in their new roles.
