“Keep an open mind. Your limits are what you put on yourself and how hard you are willing to work.
For newcomers – it’s definitely something they should try once. At least for 1 – 2 years, to get the qualifications in their desired areas and then they can take that to other places in the world.
I was actually unemployed by choice. I was very discouraged by working in my trade as a spray painter. The hourly rate in the area that I was previously working, is the same as what I’m earning now as a Houseman at Ayers Rock Resort. So I thought if I’m going to do hard work I may as well do it at a nice place”.
