Getting Started provides you with the digital basics to get set up in preparation for job searching. Course includes:
Do you need some help and tips to create a killer resume? In this workshop, you will be guided step-by-step through the process of creating a resume, and will then learn how to upload the completed resume to your MyGov account.
Work Preparation provides you with the employability skills and knowledge to create a career plan, set goals, identify opportunities in the hidden job market, identify techniques for self-marketing, and customise resumes and cover letters.
This workshop is all about actions and strategies and putting them into place. The art of self-marketing and cold calling, addresses the Selection Criteria of an application and finishes with interview methods, questions, and techniques. This is a more advanced course suitable for those familiar with customising resumes and cover letters.
These short one-on-one 45-minute sessions (conducted via phone or MS Teams) can cover topics such as;
The Accelerate Program is a two-day workshop that focuses on creating a positive mindset, communication techniques, self-management, exploring pathways, and teamwork through fun ice breakers and activities.
ETC’s CTA is an initiative to help mature-age job seekers build their skills and confidence to be competitive in today’s job market. This course familiarises you with digital technologies and runs 2 days a week over 8 weeks.
