CHC50121 – Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care

The Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care will provide you with the skills and knowledge to be responsible for designing and implementing curriculum in early childhood education and care services. This course is for those currently working in the childcare sector or who are interested in acquiring these skills.

What does the course include?

As part of the Community Services Training Package, CHC, this qualification comprises 15 units of competency.

  • 12 core units plus
  • 3 elective units

These units must be relevant to the work outcome. This qualification does require a minimum of 280 hours of work experience.

Learners will receive feedback after each assessment/assignment and the trainer/assessor will be available to discuss the feedback or provide additional assistance or direction as appropriate.
