HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid

Course Content:

This training will allow you to provide first aid response, life support, management of casualty(s), the incident and other first aiders, until medical or other assistance arrives.

Topics include:

Respond to an emergency situation, apply appropriate first aid procedures, communicate details of the incident, evaluate the incident, and own performance.

Includes: Books and Certificate

Note: This qualification is valid for three years. An update should be undertaken WITHIN the three-year period, in which case you only need to complete the second day of the course as a Refresher (you must present your Senior First Aid certificate to the trainer on the day of training).

Student Support

Learners will receive feedback after each assessment/assignment and the trainer/assessor will be available to discuss the feedback or provide additional assistance or direction as appropriate.
