What qualities do you look for when hiring staff?

A big smile
Empathy skills
That you can connect and relate to a customer and meet their needs (customers may not be feeling well when they come into a pharmacy, so it’s important to make them feel comfortable and like they want to return here)
If you’re not interested in customer service, then there’s no point in working in the Pharmacy industry

What stands out to you in a Resume?

Customer Service skills, however sometimes it is easy to train a person who hasn’t had any experience. They can be shown what the expectation is and mould them to become a great customer service person in Pharmacy.

Interview Tips

I try not to use the word interview. Just relax and have a chat about what you would like to get out of the job and we’ll say what we expect – to make sure both sets of needs are being met.
