The Certificate II in Retail Services reflects the role of frontline retail team members who use a defined and limited range of operational skills to undertake workplace activities. They are involved in mainly routine and repetitive tasks and work under direct supervision of others.

Individuals with this qualification are able to perform roles such as frontline team member, customer service assistant and point-of-sale operation.
What does the course include?
The qualification comprises of 12 units.
7 core units plus
5 elective units, consisting of 3 units from the elective list, 2 units from the elective list, elsewhere in SIR Retail Services Training Package, or any other current Training Package or accredited course.
The selection of electives must be guided by the job outcome sought, local industry requirements and the complexity of skills appropriate to the AQF level of this qualification.
Entry Requirements
There are no formal prerequisites for this qualification. However, it is preferred that candidates have relevant vocational experience and/or an industry specific qualification. There are no formal educational requirements for entry into this course.
Student Support
Learners will receive feedback after each assessment/assignment and the trainer/assessor will be available to discuss the feedback or provide additional assistance or direction as appropriate. Trainers/assessors are also available by email/phone for any discussion or problems that students experience during their study.
