Cafe Culture 

Statement of Attainment in SIT30616 Certificate III in Hospitality

Our Cafe Culture course is designed to get you up and running in the dynamic cafe industry! This course will provide the opportunity for students to get hands-on practical experience and gain vital skills required to work in a hospitality environment.

Our trainer will help students apply the knowledge and skills they’ve learned to be able to work as a team and operate their own mock cafe.

Students will learn how to prepare and serve a variety of commercial coffees and sandwiches how to maintain equipment and use essential hygiene practices and basic knife skills – the perfect set of skills for anyone wanting to be a kitchen hand, sandwich maker or caf? assistant. 

Units :

  • SITXFSA005 – Use hygienic practices for food safety
  • SITHFAB001 – Prepare and serve espresso coffee
  • SITHCCC003 – Prepare and present sandwiches
  • Non-accredited Knife Skills training

 

Course Details:

  • Commencement Date:  Monday 25th September 2023
  • Completion Date: Tuesday 17th October  2023
  • Days per week: Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday for 3 weeks
  • Duration: 4 weeks
  • Times: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
