Entry into Care Skills Program – Deception Bay

Care Skills Programs with ETC!

The Entry into Care Skills Program delivered in partnership with Home Care Workforce is designed to give clients the best possible start to a career in community-based Aged Care! This 2-week program combines in-class and practical work consisting of 4 Nationally accredited units of competency including:

  • HLTINF001 Comply with infection prevention and control policies and procedures,
  • CHCCS015 Provide individualised support,
  • HLTWHS002 Follow safe work practices for direct client care and Conduct Manual tasks safely.

Students will also be buddied with an existing employee for 4 work experience shifts with their new employer and complete their first aid certificate!

This course offers a guaranteed employment outcome and is Limited to only 15 places. After successfully completing the course clients can complete their Certificate III in Aging.
