Entry Into Care Skill Set CHCSS00114

This skill set can help you gain entry as a support worker in some of the highest employing industries such as aged care‚ disability, and community services. You’ll gain the skills and knowledge to communicate clearly and compassionately, organise & provide personalised support, monitor support services within an individual plan and create a safe environment for both you and the people in your care. You will complete first aid as well in weeks 2 and 3 days of valuable work experience with employers in the Aged Care, Disability, and Community Services industry to showcase your skills.

  • CHCCCS015 – Provide individualised support
  • HLTINF001 – Comply with infection prevention and control policies and procedures
  • HLTWHS002 – Follow safe work practices for direct client care.
  • HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid 
  • HLTAID009 – CPR
