Learn the skills to get ahead in the Hospitality industry with ETC’s Safe Food Handling course. Learn how to use hygienic practices for food safety and start preparing or serving food in cafes, clubs, hotels or bars.
This course covers basic food safety practices such as personal hygiene and conduct, food handling, housekeeping and waste disposal. Upon completing the course, you will gain a Food Safety Handling Certificate.
Hygienic work practices apply to food handlers who directly handle food or food contact surfaces such as cutlery, plates and bowls during their daily work activities. These hygiene procedures apply to cooks, chefs, caterers, kitchen stewards, kitchen hands, bar, food and beverage attendants, and sometimes room attendants and front office staff.
