Build your digital confidence with Digital Basics! Learn essential tech skills including computer and smartphone basics, internet navigation, email setup, voicemail, cloud storage, and online safety. This hands-on training is designed to boost your digital literacy and help you stay connected securely.
Ready to get confident with MyGov? Learn how to create and manage your MyGov and Workforce Australia profiles, update your Job Seeker Snapshot, add job search evidence, and understand key features like PBAS and quality job search requirements. This session also covers managing personal info, setting up events, and navigating job preferences.
Get job-ready with confidence! This session guides participants through identifying suitable job opportunities, analysing job descriptions, tailoring resumes and cover letters, and creating effective job search profiles. Learn how to apply for jobs strategically and stand out to employers.
Build your resume and explore your career path! In this hands-on session, participants will create their own resumes using our Resume Builder, learn how to tailor applications for Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and upload their finalised resumes to Workforce Australia.
Discover your strengths and plan your future! This workshop helps participants identify transferable skills, explore career options, understand local labour markets, plan training pathways and set meaningful goals. Learn how to align your personal values with work opportunities and create a clear action plan for success.
Tap into the Hidden Job Market! Learn what the hidden job market is, why it matters, and how to access unadvertised opportunities. This session covers strategies like networking, cold canvassing, targeting employers, and crafting a standout 30-second commercial. Build your confidence and present yourself professionally to unlock new career pathways.
Step confidently into the workplace! This session explores what employers expect, how to be work-ready, and how to fit into workplace culture. Learn what to expect on your first day, how to overcome impostor syndrome, and how to make a strong start in your new role.
Ace your next interview! This workshop covers key techniques and strategies to prepare for different types of job interviews. Learn how to respond to common questions, present yourself professionally, manage interview nerves, and build confidence through mock interviews and self-marketing tips.
These short one-on-one 45-minute sessions (conducted via phone or MS Teams) can cover topics such as;
Build your future-ready skills! This two-day workshop focuses on communication, mindset, self-management, teamwork, and career exploration. Participants will identify strengths, explore pathways, and develop a personalised action plan.
Take control of your finances! This practical session covers key money management topics including attitudes to money, budgeting, needs vs wants, spending leaks, bills and statements, and generating extra income. Learn how to plan, prioritise, and make informed financial decisions with confidence.
CTA, delivered by ETC, is an initiative to help mature-age job seekers build their skills and confidence to be competitive in today’s job market. This program familiarises you with digital technologies and runs 2 days a week over 8 weeks.
