
For those interested in working within a Child Care setting. The CHC30125 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care qualification will provide you with the skills to care for children and encourage their development in a safe and supportive environment. If you are looking to work as a nanny, childcare assistant or early childhood educator, this qualification is ideal. On completion of the course you will receive a certificate and Statement of Attainment in CHC30125 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.
This course is conducted in a classroom environment, with the support of a trainer. Training will be delivered face-to-face in the classroom over 23 weeks, with classes held every Wednesday and Thursday from 9:00am to 3:00pm..
This qualification requires students to complete a minimum of 160 hours of work placement in a regulated children’s education and care service in Australia as detailed in the Assessment Requirements of units of competency. To participate in work placement, students must be able to obtain a Working With Children Check (current) and a Current National Police Check and be deemed suitable to undertake practical experience within an industry workplace.
An information session will be held at the ETC Port Macquarie Training Centre at 9.30am on Thursday, 3 December 2026. This session provides an opportunity to learn more about the course, training requirements, and career outcomes, and to have any questions answered before enrolment.
