Small businesses in Warilla are the focus of Energise Warilla Week which runs from 16 – 20 February 2015.
Enterprise & Training Company Limited (ETC), the providers of the NSW Government’s Small Biz Connect program in the Illawarra are offering a week of workshops, private consultations and networking.
ETC’s Illawarra Business Coordinator Annelies Voorthuis said the purpose of Energise Warilla Week was to empower small businesses in the Warilla area to increase economic activity and generate employment opportunities.
“We want to help small business operators in Warilla grow their business by improving their performance, profitability and productivity.”
“Over the past 6 months we have partnered with the Business Chamber in Corrimal, Shellharbour and now Warilla to deliver these successful programs and look forward to rolling them out to all regions in the Illawarra.
“It’s been fantastic to have the support of local Councils and Members of Parliament to help spread the word and generate interest amongst the business community.”
Energise Warilla Week will be launched at 9am, Monday 16 February at Office e-Fex 4/12 Beverley Avenue, Warilla. Mayor Marianne Saliba will attend the launch along with State Member Anna Watson and Federal Member Stephen Jones.
“During Energise Warilla Week our team of experienced business consultants will be delivering workshops, providing one-on-one business consultations and raising awareness generally about the business support services available to small businesses in the Illawarra,” Ms Voorthuis said.
