ETC has just announced a major sponsorship arrangement with Kurrawa Surf Life Saving Club.
ETC CEO Jenny Barnett said ETC was thrilled to be getting behind the iconic Surf Club located at Broadbeach on the Gold Coast.
“Kurrawa Surf Club has a rich history and an exciting future ahead with the construction of their expanded Club House underway. It’s also home to a growing number of Nippers and the current Surf Ironman champion – Matt Poole,” Mrs Barnett said.
“As a not-for-profit, community-orientated organisation, it gives ETC great pleasure to get behind local community organisations such as Kurrawa Surf Club.”
Kurrawa Surf Club Surf Sports Director Dean Mercer welcomed the partnership with ETC.
“We’re very excited and at the same time grateful for the partnership with ETC,” Mr Mercer said.
“Kurrawa Surf Club is effectively a volunteer organisation with over 350 Nipper members and their families and there are always outgoing costs associated with uniforms, training and travelling away for competitions. The sponsorship from ETC will go a long way towards meeting these costs and is very well received.”
“We’re embarking on our Nippers to become long-term members, teaching them vital lifesaving skills designed to keep them and our beaches safer.”
