Enter our competition for the chance to spray paint your original design on one of ETC’s walls and win $1000 (plus publicity via social media and recognition in the ETC office that your artwork is displayed).
There will be 4 winners in total – one each for our Caloundra, Ipswich, Maroochydore and Maryborough offices, with all equipment expenses covered by ETC.

Eligibility: The competition is open to individuals who are aged between 15-24 years old who live in the following QLD cities, towns and suburbs –
Theme: The theme of the competition is “RISE – Respect, Integrity, Success, Empowerment,” and entrants should submit artwork that represents this theme in a positive and creative way.
Artwork requirements: Each entry must be an original artwork concept created by the entrants. Entries must be submitted as a high-resolution digital file, and must not contain any copyrighted or trademarked materials. Entries can be either a sketched artwork, or a digitally created artwork. Artwork concepts need to suit the following dimensions:
Entries that do not meet these requirements will be disqualified.
Applicants are encouraged to share a portfolio of their previous works to help complement their entry and assist with the judging process.
Judging: The judging panel will evaluate each entry based on creativity, originality, technical skill, adherence to the theme and willingness to engage with local youth during the painting phase. The decisions of the judges are final and binding. Judging will take place during 8 – 12 May, with winners being notified by phone and email following this.
Prizes: There will be 4 artwork concepts chosen as the winners and $1000 will be awarded to each winning design entrant. The entrants will also receive publicity via social media and recognition in the ETC office that their artwork will be displayed.
Painting: ETC will cover the cost of the painting equipment required. Painting works will be conducted onsite at the relevant ETC office closest to the winner (Maryborough, Maroochydore, Caloundra, or Ipswich). ETC will invite local youth to observe and participate in the painting works; and the winner is expected to engage with the local youth during this.
Intellectual property: By entering the competition, entrants grant ETC a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display their artwork in connection with the competition and for promotional purposes related to the competition. The entrant retains ownership of the copyright in their artwork.
Liability: ETC is not responsible for any damage, loss, or injury that may occur as a result of participation in the competition. Entrants agree to indemnify and hold harmless ETC from any claims arising out of their participation in the competition.
Disqualification: ETC reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who violates the competition rules or engages in any fraudulent or unethical behaviour.
