ETC CEO Jenny Barnett said that due to the success of ETC’s employment contracts with the Australian Government Department of Employment and Workplace Relations – our not-profit company was able to expand into the Wivenhoe region.
“Across this region, we will be offering the new Workforce Australia employment service, plus Workforce Australia programs – Self-Employment Assistance, Career Transition Assistance, and Transition to Work (TtW).”
“We’re also offering training services through our Registered Training Organisation (RTO 6998), with a brand-new training centre in Ipswich.”
ETC has helped over 90,000 job seekers into employment.

We’re thrilled to offer Transition to Work (TtW) in Ipswich!
TtW is a service to support young people aged 15-24 who are not in employment or in education.
ETC has been running this program for the past few years with some amazing outcomes for participants.

ETC’s Self-Employment Assistance provides budding (or current) business owners with practical guidance, networking skills, and mentoring opportunities.
“Self-Employment Assistance provides a range of services for current and aspiring business owners, ranging from flexible individual Business Advice Sessions to a structured 12-month package of Small Business Coaching,” said ETC Self-Employment Assistance Program Manager Selena Baillie.
“We’ll help you to grow, develop best-practice and improve management and operating processes with an expanded suite of products that can be tailored just for you.”
We understand how we look and apply for jobs has changed significantly over the years.
That’s why we want to help mature age job seekers increase their skills and confidence, to become more competitive in the local job market.
So we’re excited to announce that we will also offer Career Transition Assistance (CTA) to job seekers over 45 in Wivenhoe.
This program is a great way for participants to develop or improve their digital literacy and job searching abilities, in a fun and supportive environment.
