How ETC expansion to New England region supports job seekers and small business

We have some great news for New England North West… ETC has officially expanded its operations, and as of July 1, we have started servicing your region!

We’re not as new as you may think, we have over 30 years of industry experience, and come with a wealth of knowledge in employment, training and business services.

ETC CEO Jenny Barnett said that due to the success of ETC’s employment contracts with the Australian Government Department of Employment and Workplace Relations – our not-profit company was able to expand into the New England North West region.

“Across this region we will be offering the Workforce Australia programs – Self-Employment Assistance and Workforce Australia – Career Transition Assistance.”

ETC’s Self-Employment Assistance for New England North West businesses and start-ups

Have you thought about starting your own business? Or maybe you need some help improving your established business?

ETC’s Self-Employment Assistance provides budding (or current) business owners with practical guidance, networking skills, and mentoring opportunities. 

“Self-Employment Assistance provides a range of services for current and aspiring business owners, ranging from flexible individual Business Advice Sessions to a structured 12-month package of Small Business Coaching,” said ETC Self-Employment Assistance Program Manager Selena Baillie.

“We’ll help you to grow, develop best-practice and improve management and operating processes with an expanded suite of products that can be tailored just for you.”

ETC focuses on helping mature age job seekers in New England North West

We understand that the way we look and apply for jobs has changed significantly over the years.

That’s why we want to help mature age job seekers increase their skills and confidence, to become more competitive in the local job market.

So we’re excited to announce that we will also be offering Career Transition Assistance (CTA) to job seekers over 45 in the New England South West.

This program is a great way for participants to develop or improve their digital literacy and job searching abilities, in fun and supportive environment.

“At ETC we get that adults come with real-life experiences,” said ETC CTA Operations Manager Tania Eve.

“Therefore, our focus is to empower individuals to grow and develop through our interactive and supportive career transition services.”

• Tamworth – Shop 4, 257 Peel Street, Tamworth, 2340

Plus, ETC will provide outreach services in Glen Innes and Inverell with a flexible service delivery approach.
