Skilling Queenslanders for Work (SQW) is a Queensland Government-funded initiative that supports disadvantaged Queenslanders to gain the skills, qualifications and experience needed to enter and stay in employment.
The program provides supported training opportunities through community-based projects, delivered by locally funded organisations. These projects respond to local workforce needs while offering practical training, work experience and tailored support to help participants build confidence and job-ready skills.
Eligibility varies depending on individual circumstances and target groups.
