CHC33021 – Certificate III in Individual Support

Certificate III in Individual Support will develop your skills in personal care and aged care activities enabling you to work in aged care facilities and to care for the elderly.

What does the course include?

As part of the Community Services Training Package, CHC, this qualification comprises of 15 units.

  • 9 core units
  • 6 elective units

Elective units can be selected specifically for the following:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing)
  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability)
  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing & Disability)

These units must be relevant to the work outcome. This qualification does require a minimum of 120 hours of work experience.

Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements for the CHC33021 – Certificate III in Individual Support.

Student Support

Learners will receive feedback after each assessment/assignment and their trainer/assessor will be available to discuss the feedback or provide additional assistance or direction as appropriate. Trainers/assessors are also available by email/phone to assist with their study.

Delivery and Duration

This qualification is suitable for an Australian Apprenticeship pathway with an average duration of 12 months.
