ETC Announces The Superior Group as Employer of the Month

The Superior Group has been announced as the Enterprise & Training Company Limited (ETC) Employer of the Month.

Headquartered on the Gold Coast, Superior is an Australian owned and operated manufacturing company, providing high quality flotation and industrial products to a variety of industries throughout the world over the past 28 years.

According to Administration Manager Jackie Hogan, the company had required additional employees due to its continued growth.

“It’s great that we’ve got the work available so we can have more local people working,” Mrs Hogan said.

“Superior employs over 60 staff within Australia with most being Gold Coast locals.”

Mrs Hogan said Superior were proud to have eight staff who have been employed for more than a decade.

“We like to play to people’s strengths in our company. Rather than placing our employees into a box, if we see that someone has a particular talent or desire – we can adjust sometimes to take advantage of that,” Mrs Hogan said.

“We support staff who want to undertake training in their field to make themselves more promotable.”

“One of our employees who started here as a temporary accounts clerk was assisted to complete her degree as an external student. She ended up topping her degree and is now part of our senior management team.”

Local jobactive provider ETC assisted Superior with their recruitment process.
