Unsure of what to do when you leave school? That was the same for Lee Perkins. In this interview Lee shares his advice for other school leavers.
“Finishing High School last year I was unsure whether University was the right thing for me.
I think that by doing a Traineeship it really helped me to pinpoint what I wanted to do.
It really gave me an insight into how all of this is working around me.
So I think if you are unsure about it – like every one says, you don’t know if you’ll like it until you try it. There’s no harm in just jumping in and giving it a go. At the end of it, you have a qualification, you would have been employed for 12 months or however long your Traineeship goes for. From there you’re able to jump onto essentially anything you want to.”
