Meet Your Local Indigenous Employment Officers
ETC’s Indigenous Services Team is made up of passionate, community-connected professionals who are here to support you on your employment journey.
ETC is proud to promote reconciliation through our services and community engagement. Our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) is built on the pillars of Respect, Opportunities, and Relationships, and guides how we support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
In 2025, we celebrate 10 years of RAP commitment — a decade of learning, growth, and meaningful partnerships.
Through our RAP we undertake practical actions to:
Achieve stronger engagement with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples
Support and recognise their strengths, skills and contribution to ETC and our wider communities
Help create strong, inclusive and sustainable communities.
Creating Opportunities Through Employer Partnerships
ETC partners with employers to create meaningful career pathways for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander job seekers. One example is our partnership with Voyages Indigenous Tourism Australia at Ayers Rock Resort.

Tony Emmerton
Houseman, Desert Gardens Hotel, Ayers Rock Resort
ETC asked me if I would like to experience a week out at Ayers Rock Resort. I was a bit hesitant as it was such a long journey and I’d never been that far West in my life. But I took the leap of faith in July last year and I’ve never regretted coming out here. Thanks to the ETC crew I’ve found more skills, new direction in life and more opportunities than I can poke a stick at.
