ETC’s 2024–25 Indigenous Outcomes Report Card: Supporting First Nations Communities
ETC is proud to stand alongside Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, supporting their journeys through employment, training, and business development.
Our 2024–25 Indigenous Outcomes Report Card highlights the real impact of our programs and the dedication of our Indigenous Services Team (IST) across the regions we serve.
ETC has a strong reputation for investing in programs that deliver positive training and employment outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. This investment not only benefits our customers — it strengthens our communities.
As a leading provider of employment, training and business services, ETC continues to build sustainable relationships with peak Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations, including Local Aboriginal Land Councils, Aboriginal Medical Services, and Local Aboriginal Interagency Groups. These partnerships are central to our success and ensure our services remain culturally responsive and community-led.
Through our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), ETC is also committed to contributing to a fairer and more equitable society. We proudly support the national effort to “Close the Gap”, particularly in our core business areas of employment, training, and business growth.

ETC’s Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP)
ETC’s Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) is a cornerstone of our commitment to reconciliation. It guides our efforts to foster respect, build relationships, and create meaningful opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Through our RAP, we:
Promote cultural awareness and understanding across our organisation
Strengthen partnerships with First Nations communities and organisations
Embed culturally responsive practices into our service delivery
Support the national effort to Close the Gap in employment, education, and economic participation
Celebrate First Nations culture through events, storytelling, and staff engagement
Our RAP is not just a document, it’s a living commitment that informs how we work, who we work with, and the outcomes we strive to achieve. It ensures that reconciliation is woven into the fabric of ETC’s operations and culture.
Celebrating 10 Years of Reconciliation
In 2025, ETC proudly celebrated 10 Years of Reconciliation — a significant milestone in our ongoing journey to support and uplift Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Over the past decade, ETC has deepened its commitment to reconciliation through meaningful action, storytelling, and collaboration. Our efforts have included:
Launching and evolving our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP)
Sharing powerful First Nations stories through our “10 Years of Reconciliation” campaign
Hosting and participating in community-led events that honour culture and history
Strengthening partnerships with First Nations organisations across our footprint
This milestone reflects our belief that reconciliation is not a destination — it’s a continuous journey of learning, respect, and shared progress.
