Career Boost: QLD Government-Subsidised Training to Help You Advance Your Career
Career Boost is a Queensland Government-funded program that provides eligible individuals with one subsidised training place in a Certificate IV, Diploma or Advanced Diploma qualification under the general training pathway.

* Concessional Participants are defined as follows:
Hold a Health Care Card, Pensioner Concession Card or Veteran Card
Are a partner or dependent of a concession card holder
Identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander
Have a disability
Are an adult prisoner
Who is Eligible for Career Boost?
To be eligible under the general training pathway, you must:
Be 15 years or older
Not be a school student
Be a permanent Queensland resident
Be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, eligible visa holder, or New Zealand citizen
Not have completed a Certificate IV or higher qualification in the past 10 years (qualifications completed at school and foundation skills qualifications do not count) Note: This requirement does not apply to individuals enrolling in a skill set
Not be currently enrolled in another qualification (even if on hold or deferred)
Participants can access one subsidised training place under Career Boost.
